As to Erik Prince being the "pilot" of these objects.... he wishes that we had things like this. This is one of those things that comes up once in a great while among the locals. I didn't see it, but my Great Uncle did (now deceased). A segment also ran on Unsolved Mysteries a long time ago about it.

I always jokingly thought that since Erik Prince (of Blackwater fame) was in the US Navy Seals at the time and flew some top secret aircraft in to his dad's mansion in Holland.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019724693487670016.post-634925545056939342012-05-16T05:29:12.495-07:002012-05-16T05:29:12.495-07:00The UFO Hunters were a mixed bag of mature and imm...The UFO Hunters were a mixed bag of mature and immature individuals [regardless of age]. They seemed to be mainly of the opinion that their work was highly compartmentalized; doubtless if confronted with the trash and not-restoration of the proper placement of things problem, they would respond "well, that wasn't MY job", rather than have had put their personal trash away immediately. These people were largely self-contained "children" somewhat out=of-touch with real people's lives, and not sufficiently concerned about anything other than their media careers and their adventure. Not all were so self-absorbed, and I immediately liked Pat Uskert. Also, I might add that the Peter Jennings ABC people were VERY much more "in touch" and personable while still being professional. The Professorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07811807639219365621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019724693487670016.post-7592727700143451102012-05-15T20:23:45.137-07:002012-05-15T20:23:45.137-07:00Professor, Thanks for sharing this interesting acc...Professor, Thanks for sharing this interesting account of your interactions with the (now defunct) UFO Hunters tv program. I only got around to reading this entry now.

I think what bothers me the most is the way the UFO Hunters left lunch trash strewn around without picking up after themselves.

It reminds me of once sitting next to a woman in church who was crying through a sermon. She threw her used tissues on the floor...one by one. I thought she'd pick them up at the end of the service. Much to my dismay, she got up and left, not picking up her considerable pile of tissues on the floor.

We say so much more about our character with our actions, than with our words. She lost my respect that morning.

~ SusanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
