I sat upright confused because it didn't look like it was a fire, it did not radiate into the room and the other 2 windows were dark. I felt a presence in the room and looked at the end of the bed and saw a white figure with concentric puffy circles on the body, arms and legs. It was a couple feet off the floor and it held onto one of the posters on the bed frame with it's mittens. It was floating and swaying very gently. I could not see its face and I felt like it was a male. The most amazing thing is that I was not afraid at all and my little dog did not wake up who sleeps next to me. I again looked at the window and sensed something big outside. I then started to lay down and that is when he talked to me telepathically. I then sat up straight. He said, " I will come back to download information later". The next instant I was waking up in the morning. I look forward to seeing him again and wonder what he would download. I never knew of this type of alien till I found out about Michelin Men Aliens on google and found drawings of exactly what I saw. I even filed a report with MUFON in my area. I have experienced strange things in my life, but this is by far the weirdest.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17523778492431139647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019724693487670016.post-48302071920753002142016-03-31T12:11:32.418-07:002016-03-31T12:11:32.418-07:00Extremely interesting experience --- thanks for sh...Extremely interesting experience --- thanks for sharing it with the world. The south west corner of western Australia to be exact. I lived in a tiny town. I was around 10 and was walking with my 11 year old friend to her house which was just down the road. It was dark but there were a few streetlights. As we reached the middle of the road we stopped and just both stared to our right for around 20 seconds in silence and complete stillness as we watched this entity walk across the road about 50 metres away. My immediate thought was a ghost only years later did i make the connection that it looked almost exactly like the michelin man. It walked slowly and very purposely but quite like a human except it floated a few cms above the ground as it did so. It looked as light as a feather. Around the size of an average adult. Blobby white fat rolls which looked a bit like a suit but more so the body itself. White and slightly glowing. It stopped in the middle of the road and very slowly turned and looked at us. It only had eyes and a mouth but more like holes than a humans. It had a look of emptiness, it looked lost. But it also looked a bit shocked. It may have slowly raised its hand as to say hi, but that is the only memory i'm not exactly sure of. Then it continued on it's way. We both looked at each other and screamed. The i said on the count of three say what you saw, we both said a ghost at the same time. Then we described to each other what it looked like. Only difference was that she said it looked shimmery, i didn't see that. My ex-husband and I saw what looked like a Michelin Man standing on a bridge looking down at us with his "hands" on his "hips" as we drove under the bridge. It was dark, so I saw no color. We both looked in the rear view mirror, then behind us, then at each other saying "did you are that?". It felt as though the presence of the being was strong. We both felt it before we actually saw it looking over the bridge at us.Flamehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03953653657523511373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019724693487670016.post-72833252997090680692014-01-07T08:27:59.003-08:002014-01-07T08:27:59.003-08:00intriguing and thanks. They were of adult human height and wore silver grey suits. There is no indication in the story that they were associated with any ufo phenomena. There is also no indication of when the incident was reported to the authors. I am 100% sure of it. The face was blank, no expression, no eyes, mouth, nose... Just blank. The 'being' was average human height, moved slowly almost hovering perhaps a centimetre or so from the ground. It moved along the street (it was the early hours of the morning, but light) and as it reached the corner, it turned back and beckoned to us as if asking us to follow it. When I've told people about this I've always said, 'It was a bit like the Michelin Man' and only found out that this was a phenomenon after Googling.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019724693487670016.post-70935392987566770112013-03-13T15:18:02.128-07:002013-03-13T15:18:02.128-07:00Thank you very much for compiling this! I was lying on the floor and it was standing over me so it's hard to estimate its height. I did see it's face though, it was very wrinkly and it's head was pointed. I passed out shortly after looking at it's face. I used to describe the suit as looking like "Robbie the Robot" until I saw the Michelin Man on a poster. I'm not sure what this character was doing in New Jersey but I've always struggled with having seen things that haven't been reported by anyone else. My concern/curiosity is centered only on the rolled suit issue and how odd that is. My curiosity is more about the non-French cases without the iconic image in a prime place in culture, and if they would be independently reported things then I have a non-trivial mystery. If any of the cases are substantial, the awkward seeming suits seem diversionary like basically everything else in UFOlogy is. I never make conclusions based on what I expect the ETs would/should do, since I think that they are deliberately messing with us on that. The Professorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07811807639219365621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019724693487670016.post-1376852301745043972010-05-31T17:14:03.968-07:002010-05-31T17:14:03.968-07:00Posers alright; makes you want to talk to the witn...Posers alright; makes you want to talk to the witnesses; lots of questions to ask. These apparitions sound like images that the witnesses were expecting to see, as regards aliens, i.e. in space suits like we envisioned our astronauts would be using in the upcoming space program! Aliens could have real ones like that, but would they come and go as described - or rather, not described? Hmm. The images sound so very terrestrial, technology wise. I still keep thinking that REAL aliens would have abilities more like on Star Trek, examining earth with 'sensors' and unlikely to land and use space suits. Just doesn't fit in the level of technology of a 'starship', does it? But this sort of image IS what many people, especially in europe, would expect to see . . which is suggestive to me. Supernatural events meant to mess with us?

Some of the events described sound like a possible kid in a home made costume. I dearly wanted a space suit costume as a kid and sure would have ran around in it if I could!

The Michelin Man suit is like the proposed realistic space suits in George Pal's 'Destination Moon' made in 1950. Also all the suits depicted on the covers of countless sci-fi mags of the day. Hmm. The image was certainly in the public mind already. [this is, in my files, a very rare case of the law enforcement authority acting irresponsibly with regard to UFOs]. But if "everyone" that I know is wrong about this case, it still doesn't look like a Bibendum. The critical feature of a Bibendum is not some diving-suit-like proportion but the "rolled" appearance of the thing's coverall. Falkville, to my memory, has none of that. ------------------------And to Frank: sort of the same comment. I don't see any striking "rolled" coverall in the Monguzzi "alien" figure. In order to convince me that something cued a possible imitative imagery for later witnesses, or miscreants, I'd have to see some immediately impressive case detail which would directly lead to the otherwise unique descriptive element. Monguzzi is a "diving-suit" type figure but not a Michelin type one [unless someone has preternaturally good eyeballs and is picking up on something not obvious to me.]The Professorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07811807639219365621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019724693487670016.post-10016160159712280452010-05-30T23:56:33.592-07:002010-05-30T23:56:33.592-07:00Let's see if I can cut.n.paste:
